We excited to be able to announce that Carrbridge News has been shortlisted for the “Best Use of Journalism on the Web” award as part of the Highland & Islands Media Awards 2011.
Also shortlisted in the same category is the BBC’s Highland & Islands website and Breaking News North, Tain.

“We’re all thrilled to have been shortlisted in the “Best Use of Journalism on the Web” category – we really do take pride in what we do and it’s an honour to be placed against such tough competition.”
The awards take place on an annual basis and celebrate the best in publishing and media in the Highlands.
We will be attending the Press Ball in Nairn in February and will find out then whether we have won, but, regardless of whether we do or not, we’re over the moon to have made it onto the shortlist.
