Whilst the whole of Europe eagerly await a flurry, the team at CairnGorm Mountain haven’t been resting on their laurels. Scotland’s premier ski resort, which attracted over a quarter of a million skiers in the course of the last two seasons, has devoted significant effort and expense into the maintenance of CairnGorm Mountain’s skiing infrastructure, including some exciting new developments.
‘The smallest patch of snow I’ve ever tried to turn on!’ was how intrepid skier Helen ‘Hilly’ Rennie from Inverness described this patch of snow in Ciste Mheared in the Cairngorms yesterdat (Thursday 1 September) as she managed just two linked turns to take her to her 23rd consecutive month of skiing in the Cairngorms.
